Hannah & Kota

Dakota Harris & Hannah March grew up in the same small town, Grayson Georgia. All throughout growing up, their paths crossed many times, but their love story did not begin until they went to college. In 2017, both Dakota and Hannah graduated from Grayson High School. However, little to their knowledge, this would be the last time they saw each other as casual classmates. After graduation, they continued their scholarly pursuits at Kennesaw State University. This is where their love truly bloomed!

Finally, in 2023 at 11:11 a.m., Kota asked Hannah to be his wife, in the same spot in the Kennesaw State University campus that he asked her to be his girlfriend.

The Love Story Continues

After a year of planning, the special day finally arrived. On August 24th, 2024, they tied the knot with all of their family and friends in Dataw Island, South Carolina. Dataw Island is a special place for the March family. Hannah’s father grew up near the island and actually tended to the land with a landscaping company before many of the homes were even built. Since then, the March’s often enjoy family weekends on Dataw Island.

Hannah and her bridal party got glammed up in matching pajamas before getting in their wedding day gowns. Hannah was joined at the aisle by her two best friends, her three sisters.

Hannah shared a loving moment with both her father and mother while getting ready to have her first look with her bridal party. Hannah’s wedding gown is designed by Essense of Australia and is named Shakira in our store. This gown is adorned, head to toe in ivory glitter and finished off with lace sides and train.

First Look Feels

Hannah took a moment from the busy day to have a first look with her bridal party. First looks are a great opportunity to surprise your bridal party with your full bridal look.

Hannah also had a first look with her father before walking down the aisle

Time for the asile

Around 150 of Hannah and Kota’s special family and friends waited for the couple at the end of the aisle. The bride and groom had each of their immediate family and bridal parties walk down the aisle, along with their fur-baby Roscoe.

The bride & groom were accompanied at the aisle by their eight person bridal party and their former youth pastor Charlie Conder, who was the officiant.

Hannah & Kota made their ceremony their own by adding in a fun a ‘unity shot’. This shot symbolizes the fun and adventurous life they will have together.

And just like that! They are husband and wife!

The Newlyweds

Hannah and Kota shared a loving, quiet moment alone before heading to the reception. The newlyweds took a moment to sign their marriage license & share their first meal together as husband and wife.

Let's Dance!

Like a tasteful bottle service, the bridal party entered the reception holding lights, large heads of the bride and groom, and even throwing money to the wedding guests. Hannah and Dakota cheerfully entered their wedding reception following their bridal party.

The bridal party surprised the bride and groom with money guns, mini fatheads, and sparklers to spice up their entrance.

Before speeches and dancing began, Hannah & Dakota Harris cut their wedding dessert of choice, which happen to be a chocolate cheesecake.
Anyone who's been to a wedding knows that the reception is often the highlight. And this one definitely lived up to the hype—it was a full-on celebration.

Before the night ended, the Harris’s and their guest joined together for a group photo.

The Exit

Hannah and Dakota concluded the night with an exit through dried flowers and a ride to a nearby bed and breakfast. The lovely couple celebrated their love in Sandals, Jamaica shortly after the wedding.

The couple also had variety of other sweets baked by Flour Power Treats. To add a personal touch, they served specialty cocktails named after their fur-babies.

A Note from the Editor:

Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Harris, for sharing your gorgeous photo album with us. We’re so grateful to have played a small part in such a special day. Hannah, it was an absolute honor to serve as both your wedding dress consultant and your co–maid of honor. Watching you grow into the beautiful woman and bride you are today has been such a meaningful and unforgettable experience. Kota, I am so thankful to have known you for so many years. I love watching you love my best friend. Lastly, heartfelt thank you to Mr. and Mrs. March—we’re so thankful for the chance to work with not just one, but both of your daughters. It was such a privilege to help both Hannah and Delaney find their dream gowns—and even more so to have grown up surrounded by the warmth of your family.
