Hello Beautiful Brides!
Due to Covid-19, thousands of people in our state have been impacted as they deal with the phsycial, mental, and economical effects of the terrible virus. Working in the bridal industry, we have watched so many of our brides reschedule their weddings or cancel them entirely. However, we have seen our gorgeous brides make the most of this hard situation and they have taught us SO much about love and marriage thanks to these events. With every hard situation we can learn and make the best of things, and this we have seen done time and time again! The biggest lesson we have learned from this pandemic is that while weddings may be postponed or canceled, the parties skipped, the ceremony shortened, LOVE is certainly not canceled!
Take our Bel Fiore Bride Morgan; When her original wedding date in April had to be canceled, they decided to put together a small ceremony and just cancel the reception. There is always time for a party later, but to them their love for each other and being married meant the world!
Here is her experience she shared with us in her own words;
"It was with heavy hearts that we made the wise decision to postpone our special day on Jekyll Island for the safety of our friends and family. As our original date quickly approached, we struggled with the idea of not knowing when we would get to be married, so about a week before we decided to postpone just our reception, and in about five days and with the help of our incredible families we created the most special little backyard ceremony at the home of my husband's aunt and uncle in Cumming. With just a few family members, our photographer, and our officiant there via Zoom, we captured what turned out to be the best decision we could have ever landed on. Tyler and I were both so comfortable and excited. No schedules, no rushing, just smiles and so much love. People have said we made best of a challenging situation, which I believe we did, but we truly feel it ended up being THE BEST situation... I always said, I didn't need a dress to be married on a budget. Looking back, I could not express in words, just how much I appreciate the amazing and incredible experience it was working with you all to learn just how much I really did want this beautiful, just for me wedding dress. It was comfortable and absolutely perfect! Thank you all at Bel Fiore for making this bride's experience one of a kind!"
The love and happiness is so clear here in these photos! Thank you Morgan for sharing your story with us, and to all of our brides wondering what will happen if their weddings do not go exactly as planned, remember that an event can be rescheduled, there is a time for everything, and love prevails through all! We at Bel Fiore are so happy to be in the business of love and look forward to supporting all our brides, new and old, through any crazy situation the world throws at us!
