ONE YEAR OUT
We know that discussing finances isn’t a super fun subject, but it’s definitely necessary at this point - especially if you’re covering some (or all) of the wedding expenses. If you aren’t, then you don’t need to worry yourself too much with the wedding budget except for offering gentle advice to your daughter if asked for it.
However, if you’re covering any expenses, make sure your daughter and her partner are aware of any questions or concerns you might have. You’ll want to be sure that you’re all on the same page in regards to what specifically you’re paying for. Discuss venues based on the budget as well as the guest count, as these are two of the most important factors to sort out. If they’re having a large wedding, it helps to begin working on the guest list now rather than later so you can put together addresses for invitations.

WEEK OF
The big day for your daughter is just around the corner! During this time, she will certainly need your guidance and support. At this point, you should also arrange any necessary transportation for guests.
THE DAY OF
Get ready to celebrate your daughter's wedding with beautiful hair and makeup, lipstick, and tissues! Be sure to offer any assistance to your daughter as needed. Remember that this is a very special day for her, so try your best to be helpful without being overbearing. The best thing you can do for your daughter is enjoy yourself!
