Hello Beautiful Brides!
Lately we have been sharing our most popular bridal gown silhouettes and today we are going to talk a little bit about A-line gowns. Last week we shared the pros and cons of the super popular ballgown silhouette, and those who love that fit but do not want the drama, weight, and poof that accompany it tend to chose the A-line silhouette. The a-line silhouette uses the letter "A" for a reason, it starts fitted and has a free flowing skirt with more volume at the bottom and a tight top. A-line gowns are often made out of more casual fabrics like soft tulles, chiffon, or organza. They do not have the layers of crinoline underneath that a ball gown has and tend to be a more relaxed fit often favored for beach and destination weddings. They are a great choice for many types of bridal looks, especially those who want to go with a more bohemian, casual, or comfortable feel!
